2006-05-10 ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++ From: Herwig Bauernfeind This is a lightweight calculator for daily office use, which is optimized for fast and simple calculations. In additions it has options to ease the transfer of - results from PMDCalc Plus into other programs - numbers from other programs into PMDCalc Plus using the clipboard and/or drag and drop. Note: This calculator is not suitable for scientific mathematics, it is not capable to handle brackets, it does not honor point calculation before line calculation. What's new in this release? + Added: Detect presence of the LEDPanel font and use it in the display (LEDPanel font is included in the installer package now) * Changed: Fallback default font is now 12. System VIO instead of 13.System VIO (looks better on 96dpi systems). * Changed: The whole calculator window (including all GUI elements!) now resizes properly. ! Fixed: Finding the .INI file was not working how is was supposed to (might lead to a different location of the .INI file). ! Fixed: Helpfile is always found (even if there is no "." in HELPPATH or DPATH) ! Fixed: A few typos in the manual/helpfile. 2006-05-11 ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++ From: Paul Smedley HI All, I thought it was about time to update FFMpeg & FFplay from the latest code in the sourceforge repository. As a reminder of what ffmpeg/ffplay do: FFmpeg is a complete solution to record, convert and stream audio and video. It includes libavcodec, the leading audio/video codec library. FFmpeg is developed under Linux, but it can compiled under most operating systems, including Windows. The project is made of several components: * ffmpeg is a command line tool to convert one video file format to another. * ffplay is a simple media player based on SDL and on the FFmpeg libraries. I've also started working on a revised web page for my ports - any feedback on this is appreciated. The old ports page is at http://smedley.info/os2ports.html - the new is http://smedley.info/os2ports Thanks, Paul Smedley Adelaide, Australia 11th May, 2006 Top
